Through water, silence, and light, this season charts a journey through the most elemental forces that shape our humanity. From the shimmer of the sea to the stillness of sacred spaces, from the intimacy of grief to the radiance of renewal, each concert invites listeners to move through darkness toward illumination.
This is a season about resilience—the courage to face sorrow and emerge transformed. The sea becomes a mirror for the soul in the music of Grace Williams, Edward Elgar, and Ralph Vaughan Williams. Grażyna Bacewicz, Anna Clyne, and Andrew Yee guide us inward, where silence itself becomes sacred, and where remembrance takes shape in sound. The timeless beauty of Morales, the spiritual clarity of Mahler, and the life-affirming energy of Beethoven remind us that creation often springs from struggle, and that every lament holds the seed of hope.
Spanning six centuries of music, Light Beyond the Horizon unites voices ancient and new in a shared act of healing. These works do not deny suffering—they transform it into compassion, grace, and radiant joy. Together, they remind us that beyond every storm, every silence, and every ending, the horizon still glows with light.
